Antonella Barba

The artist was born on 26 November 1986 in Santa Monica California in the United States of America. She is the sole daughter of Vincenzo Barba. In the year 2006, they moved with their parents with their family members to Point Pleasant New Jersey. After moving to New Jersey, she finished her studies at Red Bank Catholic High School. She then attended Catholic University, where she graduated with a degree in architecture. She also began playing the violin from when she was four years old and was referred to as Violin Girl. Performances by her led to being called Violin Girl. Also, she taught children in within the community how to play the violin. At the age of 19, she performed Free 1976 in American Idol in the 6th season. She was however eliminated from the competition after she reached 16th position. She has sung several songs such as 2009's "The Christmas song as well as The 2010's Out for Blood. Additionally she has performed on various TV shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Antonella Barba rose to stardom as a singer in America during the 6th Season of American Idol. After getting eliminated, she reached 16th place on the show, she began performing the front of camera. She's played in small roles in movies, and appeared on Fear Factor in the Season 2012. Daily Mail report that according to reports from November 21st 2019, she was given a four-year prison sentence for conspiring to distribute fentanyl. In July of 2018, the singer pleaded to possessing 400 grams or more of the drug and was planning to market it. But she was stopped by authorities in Virginia as she attempted to bring nearly 2 kilograms of the substance into an unidentified stash in the month of October of 2018.
